Information Stored Locally
You may choose to enter or generate health and wellness records in the app. These may include:
- Blood sugar or glucose records, blood pressure records, pulse or heart-rate values, weight, BMI, dates, tags, and notes.
- Charts, history, and trend views created from the information you enter or measure.
- App preferences saved on your device, such as display or reminder settings.
These records are kept locally on your device unless you personally choose to export, copy, or share them outside the app.
Camera Permission
Some features may ask for camera permission while you are using them, such as a feature that estimates heart rate or pulse using the camera sensor. The camera is used only for the active measurement process on your device.
- The app does not take photos through this measurement feature.
- The app does not record videos through this measurement feature.
- The app does not store camera images or video frames.
- The app does not upload camera images, video frames, or measurement images to cloud servers.
- You can deny or revoke camera permission in your device settings. Camera-based features may not work without this permission.
Device ID and Crash Information
To find and fix crashes, we may process a device identifier and limited technical information, such as crash logs, app version, device model, operating system version, and the time of a crash. This information is used only for crash analysis, troubleshooting, app security, and performance improvement.
We do not use your health records or camera data for advertising, profiling, or sale.
Retention and Deletion
Local health records and app preferences remain on your device until you remove them. You can delete local data by:
- Deleting records in the app, where the app provides a delete option.
- Clearing the app data from your device system settings.
- Uninstalling Blood Sugar & Blood Pressure from your device.
Crash information and device identifiers used for diagnostics are retained only for as long as needed to investigate crashes, improve stability, maintain security, and meet legal or operational requirements.
Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers for crash reporting and diagnostics. These providers may process limited technical information on our behalf, such as a device identifier and crash logs. We do not provide them with your locally stored health records, notes, photos, camera images, or video frames.
Your Choices
- You can choose whether to enter health records into the app.
- You can control camera permission in your device settings.
- You can delete local app data by deleting records, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.
- If you contact us by email, we will use your email address only to respond to your request. You may ask us to delete the email conversation.
